Gold Medal, San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition
Winemaker's Notes: Aromas of nectarine, stone fruit, white peach and oak spice are accented with hints of vanilla, toasted nuts and a touch of butterscotch and light caramel with a subtle cinnamon spice undertone. This wine has the distinctive Sonoma-Cutrer balance between elegance and richness for a medium-bodied, mouth-filling wine. The creamy texture of this wine offers flavors of ripe pear and peach that is balanced with a nice, bright acidity. There is lots of finesse’ to the long, silky finish highlighted with long barrel spice notes.
Green apple and pureed cooked corn dominate the nose with a faint vestige of mango. Ripe and lush in the mouth with wild citrus flavors coming forward before retreating into a smooth and mineral-driven finish. Outstanding.
Winemaker's Notes: Deep ruby red in color with intriguing aromas of sun-warmed blackberries, ripe plums, with hints of black licorice. A complexity of dark berry fruits unfold on the palate; blackberries and bing cherries along with dark chocolate flavors. Vanilla and cedar oak undertones on the mid-palate further enhance the wine. The overall impression is rich with refined tannins, firm acidity and explosive layers of ripe fruit.
Winemaker's Notes: Bright crimson red in color. Aromas of black cherry and ripe plums combine with subtle notes of dried herbs and smoke. The palate entry shows flavors of cranberry, fresh raspberry, and ripe cherry, complemented by hints of vanilla and baking spice. A balance of savory, cedar and cocoa powder on one side, and sweet, fig jam and ripe blackberry on the other, round out the mouth-feel. The overall impression is one of ripe red and black berry fruit flavors, great structure, smooth tannins and a lingering fresh finish.
Russian River Valley, California | 100% Pinot Noir
93 Points, Wine Enthusiast: The producer's flagship wine, this is sourced from several Green Valley sites, including Amber Ridge and Manna. Both contribute a full-bodied wealth of packed-earth flavor in a generously layered, rich explosion of dark cherry, plum and pomegranate. Along the way, streaks of citrus and black tea provide exotic interludes.
95 Points, James Suckling: Ripe and intense aromas of strawberries and blackberries with hints of black ink. Savory notes, too. Full-bodied, chewy and focused with linear fruit and character. Very finely crafted. Drink or hold.
91 Points, Robert Parker: There is a smoky character that I believe comes from the skin of the grapes, which have a high impact from the sun—as with the higher altitude, the rays are much stronger and make grapes develop thicker skins. It made me think of a red from the Northern Rhône, mixing violets, bacon fat and great spiciness. They have replaced Cabernet by Tannat, and I think it has helped remove the herbal aromas and given more character to the blend. The palate is medium-bodied with great freshness and intensity, terribly tasty. This is so easy to drink, it can be dangerous... One to buy by the case, and great for by-the-glass.
Brewer's Notes: Yuengling is proud to introduce its IPL, a brew bursting with complex hop notes like an IPA but with a well-balanced lager base that allows the Bravo, Belma, Cascade and Citra hops to truly shine.
91 Points, Natalie Maclean | Winemaker's Notes: A soft, pale, brilliant pink with bluish tints developing over time towards more orangey nuances. The bouquet releases aromas of summer fruits, cassis and redcurrant. Floral notes of rose along with hints of grapefruit complete the picture. The finish is fresh, offering notes of candy. On the palate the impression is fresh and full, with great aromatic persistence and balance.
92 Points, Winemaker Challenge Int'l Wine Competition; 90 Points, Wine Enthusiast: A tasty vein of cranberry and raspberry runs from the nose to the palate and lingers on the finish, giving this value-priced wine focus and vibrance. It has plenty of fresh acidity, fine tannins and good depth of flavor. -WE
90-92 Points, Robert Parker: A step up, the 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape Secret de Leonce, which was formerly known as their Vieilles Vignes and is now named after Laurent’s Grandfather, is a blend of 85% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre that was aged all in barrel. Coming all from the Bois Dauphin and Sainte Vierge terroirs, it displays serious amounts of black fruits, wild herbs, olive and licorice as well as a medium to full-bodied, seamless and elegant profile on the palate. Finesse is the name of the game here, yet it doesn’t lack for concentration or richness either. Enjoy it over the coming decade or more. Drink now-2023.

Aromas and flavors of dark roasted nuts, roasted grains, clay, and hint of soy and cajeta with a silky, bright, dry light-to-medium body and a tingling, delightful, medium-long maple buttercream, latte, praline, and pepper finish. A rock solid blend with a nice nutty character.
France | Varietal Composition: Explosive blend of Mourvèdre and Carignan with Syrah and Grenache
Winemaker's Notes: It has a soft pink colour that refers to its character as a wine: with an excellent aromatic length and depth, it displays fresh, elegant and floral notes overlying aromas of pear and light red fruits (raspberry and red currant). Equally appreciated as an aperitif or throughout a meal, it expresses itself best at 9° and served as an accompaniment to grilled tuna or sea bass, paella, curried mussels or, alternatively, sweet and savoury Asian dishes such as pork with pineapple and chicken with orange.

Lightly spiced with cinnamon, vanilla and maple syrup to cradle in your hands and warm your hearts. This estate cider has the aroma of fresh baked apple pie. Its deep character proves just as excellent when gently mulled.

Winemaker's Notes: Carménère was once a part of many Bordeaux blends and was transplanted to Chile in the 1800s. Today, Chile is one of the only countries to produce Carmenere, a late-ripening grape with deep color and a rich, soft texture. Primus Carmenere has dark chocolate, plum and black pepper flavors. It is distinctively smooth and velvety with a long finish.
