Brewer's Notes You may remember the Brewer’s Release No.1 Quad we released this past January. Well, Slack Jack is that same 9.6% Quad brewed with dates, raisins, and fennel seed, but aged in two diferent barrels, Virgin American Oak and Buffalo Trace Bourbon. Over the past 8 months, we tasted each barrel and with every tasting, we found ourselves loving the complexity that both barrels contributed to the aroma, flavors and finish of the beer.

91st Percentile, Ratebeer.com; Featured, Savannah Craft Brew Fest 2018 Brewer's Notes: Aromas reminiscent of toffee and chocolate macaroons belie the low alcohol content and moderate body of this well-rounded English-style Brown Ale. Semi-sweet chocolate, almond and brown sugar flavors fill the palate but quickly dissipate into a dry, clean finish with notes of coffee grounds.
Good, Beer Advocate; Featured, Savannah Craft Brew Fest 2018 Brewer's Notes: Put your feet in the sand with a beer in your hand. Our tropical and refreshing blonde ale is kissed with gnarly waves of juicy pineapple. A dose of floral, American hops and crisp pilsner malt makes this beer ideal for any sun-soaked day.
Brewer's Notes Crafted in Marietta, Georgia, using only local apples juiced at season’s peak, Treehorn’s original flagship fine cider is crisp, refreshing and pleasantly sweet–never cloying–with a dry finish. Five hand-picked varieties of apples including Stayman Winesap and Arkansas Black, chosen for their complex flavors and tannins, give Treehorn Cider its characteristic tart apple and citrus aroma, a bright and lively mouthfeel and a soft mineral finish with focused acidity. We’re serious about our cider, which is fermented in the classic tradition and allowed to mature for at least six weeks.

94th Percentile, Ratebeer.com; Featured, Savannah Craft Brew Fest 2018 Brewer's Notes: Traditional throughout Latin America, the guayabera shirt combines style, functionality, form and tradition in it’s four-pocketed design. We at Cigar City feel the same reverence and appreciation for the guayabera that we do for the Citra hop varietal, an ingredient that imparts notes of tangerine, lime and berries to this traditional American Pale Ale. The exclusive use of Citra hops in this beer creates a flavor that’s at once unique and recognizable, while it’s dry, crisp character and moderate alcohol make it as refreshing and functional as a crisp linen guayabera.
97th Percentile, Ratebeer.com; Featured, Savannah Craft Brew Fest 2018 Brewer's Notes: Aromas of chocolate, raisins and cinnamon dominate with soft toffee and bread crust notes complimenting. Full bodied and chocolatey on the palate, spice and raisin flavors punctate the underlying beer while a dry finish and vibrant carbonation keep the beer balanced and easy to drink.
Very Good, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: Yuzu and Ugli fruit infusions twisted together with the blueberry, tangerine notes of Mosaic make for a tangy, juicy, zesty array of aroma and flavor. Salivation will instantly ensue with one sniff of this crushable brew (5.8% ABV, 60 IBUs) that was inspired by a Yuzu brew we made with some brewing friends in Japan.
Very Good, Beer Advocate; Featured, Savannah Craft Brew Fest 2018 Brewer's Notes: Our IPA was brewed to remind us of the aroma of those tall Georgia pines, while the malty backbone balances everything out. Hopped up like a one-legged chicken, this ain’t your standard IPA, Darlin.
Good, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: A kickflip of an IPA, Swell Rider is made to be enjoyed relentlessly throughout the day. Splashed with tangerines and waves of pineapple, mango and stone fruit hops.
Exceptional, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: It’s one of our year round flag ship beers. Bold with strong hoppy flavor with an amber golden hue. Hazy and a little bit crazy. Cannon Dragger is a Big Hitter.
Very Good, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: This deep Belgian pale with a traditional pilsner malt character and slight toasted biscuit notes. Dark fruity Belgian esters are complemented by exotic coconut, clove and vanilla captured from the introduction of exotic Peruvian wood. A subtle yet complex beer for the discerning palate.
Very Good, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: Pronounced "Queen's Vice", this traditional Hefeweizen is a flavorful light-bodied ale that is designed on a Bavarian water profile. The high wheat content gives it crispness, a cloudy pale yellow color, and the noble hops contribute to the subtle bitterness. The star is the yeast, one of the oldest strains in the world, which undergoes a stressing process to give bright clove and banana flavors, with a subtle pink bubble gum aftertaste.
Exceptional, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: Unseasonal Lager transcends all seasons. A beer outside of all traditional style guidelines, it creates a style of its own. Our flagship lager was specially crafted by the team at Arches Brewing to be a lager that calls Atlanta home. A simple American grain bill is treated with old-world techniques creating a distinct color and body which is light enough for summer and strong enough for winter. All noble hops provide a classic mild and spicy bitterness.
Very Good, Beer Advocate; Featured, Savannah Craft Brew Fest 2018 Brewer's Notes: Copperhead is a wonderfully balanced and visually arresting beer. This American amber hybrid pairs a nice malt body with the perfect amount of Northwest hops. It finishes with an amazing copper color and an ABV measuring at 5.2%. Copperhead modernizes a traditionally West Coast style, making it appealing to a variety of palates. With a crisp, refreshing flavor and smooth finish, Copperhead is a perfect choice for all seasons.
Good, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: A newly imagined IPA from our team. Triforce is a slightly HAZY IPA brewed with the Tri-Force of malts (oats, wheat and barley) and the Tri-Force hops (Mosaic, Amarillo, and Cascade). These combine to create a unique IPA that has the HOPPY aroma and flavor of papaya, mango, and other tropical fruits; with a soft, flavorful mouthfeel to balance this truly inspired beer.
Suggested pairings for the beer include tacos, barbecue, fresh vegetables, ceviche, fromage blanc, and nostalgia.
Very Good, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: This beer takes goses to a whole new level. We use organic orange peels from Florida and freshly squeezed lime juice to give it the sweet-tart taste of the classic cocktail. We've also upped the salt slightly to pair nicely with the citrus. A beer that is good anytime but best enjoyed outdoors on your favorite patio.
Parings include - Braised pork al pastor, ceviche, mango salad, chips & queso, and flying inverted

Good, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: Bestie is a delicious session Pub Ale brewed in collaboration with England’s Arundel Brewery, Wild Heaven Beer and Robert Merrick of Atlanta’s 9 Mile Station. Built on the backbone of a traditional Standard Pub Ale with our own twist added, Bestie is designed to be a flavor-forward, yet easy-drinking beer. It is medium amber in color with light hints of peat and dark fruits and finishes crisp and clean with lingering floral hops.
Exceptional, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: If you can pin down a Hooligan IPA, it will pour a golden yellow with a fluffy white head that dissipates slowly and leaves behind lace evidence. Hooligan brings big tropical flavor from the Galaxy and Mosaic hops -- passion fruit, mango, and pineapple galore with just a hint of biscuit from pale malt. Including berry notes, the aroma keeps the hops forward. A full body and mild to moderate bitterness round out the finish. A complex and satisfying unfiltered beer experience unlike any other. An outlier – a Hooligan..

Very Good, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: Our Belgian Saison is brewed with generous amounts of pink peppercorns to accentuate the herbal, earthy, spicy notes of this amazing yeast. Korean pears marinated in Chardonnay and are added to the fermentation. The result is a host of savory flavors melding together into a wonderful new spin on a well-known style. Finishes dry with woody earthy hints and elegantly well rounded fruit and spice notes.
Good, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: Grapefruit peel, ginger, and coriander add a summer glow to this deftly layered white ale. Our first seasonal beer in a can beckons for the trail, the beach and the back nine. Brewed with wheat and rye from Riverbend Malt House and coriander from Spicewalla.
Brewery Notes It started with our brewmaster, Keith Villa, wanting to craft a beer inspired by the flavorful Belgian Wits he enjoyed while studying brewing in Belgium. He brewed his interpretation using Valencia orange peel versus the traditional tart Curaçao orange peel, for a subtle sweetness, and added a touch of coriander to provide balance. Then he added oats and wheat to create a smooth, creamy finish that’s inviting to the palate. As a final touch, he garnished the beer with an orange slice to heighten the citrus aroma and taste. Its natural unfiltered appearance adds to the depth of flavors in Belgian White.

Good, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these “cow hunters” used to herd cattle in Florida’s Palmetto Prairies. Called Quaqueros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nation’s oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White Ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a Belgian yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.
Good, Beer Advocate Brewer's Notes: Soft J IPA starts off with a super fruity nose, which is matched with a hazy pour. It hits your tongue with blasts of orange and tangerine, while a delicate bitterness carries through to the finish. This soft, creamy, y-uicy IPA is proof that words, beer, anything can start with a Soft J…and by way, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

This prestigious unit serves as the official escort to the President, and its members maintain a constant vigilance over the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. In 1996, the first woman proudly joined it ranks.

94th Percentile, Ratebeer.com Brewer's Notes: Shhh! Don’t ask about what was happening in the basement, where this juicy IPA was developed in our underground brewery… The beer that emerged pours a deep persimmon with fluffy khaki foam. The dank aroma emanating from this Basement is one of earthy tones, citrus and a hint of lemongrass all derived from Citra hops. It’s balanced with a pale malt body that carries hop aroma and flavor in every sip. There is a hint of alcohol heat on the way down for this hop-forward, Northeast-style IPA with characteristic unfiltered haze and a sweet finish. Beer geeks rejoice -- but you have to leave your parents’ basement to get it.
