The aroma is at once bright and complex with floral, spice, citrus, and anise shining through. There's a citrus flavor quickly followed by the piney juniper, cinnamon, and cardamom throughout. Fresh green herbs are present as well, but delicately so. There is so much going on, that there isn't enough room here to discuss them all. Honestly, this is a gin you could enjoy on the rocks with or without a splash of soda or tonic because of it being a cocktail in and of itself, but it certainly could and should be experimented with in modern cocktail applications. Bravo!

Sweet, mild, clean fragrance of lemon, juniper and licorice. This is a complex gin; cinnamon spice, astringent pine needles, a touch of lime zest and, finally, a big licorice finish comes singing through. Slightly oily feel. Great for a gimlet or martini with a lemon twist.

Clear. Delicate aromas of cucumber, rose, honeyed citrus and floral juniper with a satiny dry-yet-fruity medium-full body with a long, elegant and smooth finish. A sensationally flavorful and seamless gin.

Delicate, floral, grassy aromas and flavors of lemon verbena and basil, lemon pudding cake, fruit loops, and pickled melon with a silky, crisp, petillant, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a tingling, interesting, medium-length candied violets, earl grey tea with cream, and minerals finish.

The Original Gin’s bouquet shows a beautiful combination of bright citrus, earthy coriander, and a healthy dose of refreshing juniper matched with the spirit’s calling card: the sea buckthorn berry. These tart little fruits give an invigorating character to the gin, but compliment the traditional botanicals rather than hijacking the flavor profile making this a great tool in all sorts of traditional applications — particularly well-suited for a gin and tonic. The distillate has a rich mouthfeel and no real impression of alcoholic burn or spice.
