91 Points, Ultimate Wine Challenge | Winemaker's Notes: Vibrant and expressive with dominant floral notes and hints of bright fruit flavors - including peach, tropical fruits and lychee - this wine is soft and luscious. Just a hint of fine effervescence tickles the palate and balances the sweetness.
90 Points, Robert Parker: The 2015 Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie Harmonie offers a very clear, elegant and pure bouquet of ripe pears with fresh citrus flavors. Full-flavored, juicy and full of minerals, this is a gorgeously pure and elegant but also sensual and stimulating Muscadet in perfect balance. The finish is pretty long, aromatic and structured, which is what makes this still primarily fruity wine highly attractive to be drunk young, although this Muscadet will gain even more complexity over the years.
96 Points, Wine Spectator:Terrific aromas of berries and violets, with a hint of mint. Full-bodied and lightly sweet, with fine, silky tannins that build on the palate and caress the tongue. Outstanding concentration and harmony. Greatest Vesœvio this century. Best after 2010.
93 Points, Josh Reynolds, International Wine Cellar | Winemaker's Notes: Released in April 2010, Savannah Verdelho is simply incredible, its bouquet exuding orange zest and buttery shortbread with hints of ginger, milk chocolate, and almonds. Lightly sweet with zesty acidity to keep it fresh, the palate reveals notes of candied citrus, ginger, and spicy honey. The finish sharpens all of the above into a refreshing and palate cleansing blend of spiciness and citrus sweetness.
The Natural Sweet Range is made in its very own unique way by blending varietals to showcase fruity and fresh, floral flavours. This process leads to wine packed with natural sweet flavours that are low in alcohol and very quaffable. Serve well chilled.
Gold Medal, Mundus Vini Germany | Winemaker's Notes: Named in honor of the Founder, this Reserve is one of Sandeman's greatest Portos. Selected from the finest "lots" of each vintage and aged for 5 years. Full of the power, fruit and fire that distinguishes classic Porto, Sandeman Founders Reserve is the culmination of two hundred years of expertise.
Intense ruby red color, brilliant and clean. Rich red fruit aromas with a touch of age create an elegant reflection of powerful flavors, the fruit and fire characteristic of young classic Porto balanced with the finesse of age.
Silver Medal, Portugal Wine Trophy Germany | Winemaker's Notes: Brilliant red ruby in colour, with clean aromas of red fruits, plums and strawberries, Sandeman Porto Ruby has full rich flavours and is very well balanced. Rich, round, balanced in the mouth, with overt flavours of fresh plums and red fruits.
Recommended by James, Product Research; 93 Points, Robert Parker:The non-vintage Otima 10-Year Old Tawny Port reveals a medium ruby/amber/garnet color, loads of kirsch and cedar intermixed with a touch of brown sugar in the nose, rich, full-bodied flavors, a burgeoning complexity and big aromatics. This is a full-bodied, silky smooth Tawny Port.
