92 Points, Natalie Maclean Juicy purple and black plum aromas with dark spice and smoke. Full-bodied, but not heavy. This smooth, robust Californian red wine is made from the state's iconic grape Zinfandel. Some terrific notes of cherry and blackberry on the finish. Pair with roast turkey and grilled meats.
94 Points/Cellar Selection, Wine Enthusiast This is a tightly coiled wine, still firm and packed with tannins as well as fruit. It has a strong dry core that is lifted by the bright acidity. This is going to be a very complete wine, all the elements well in place. Drink from 2026.
90 Points, Wine Enthusiast The showpiece, moated Château of Agassac has produced a luscious, fruity 2011. It has both juicy blackberry fruits, warm tannins and just a core of dryness to promise aging. Elegant, ripe and fragrant, this wine should be drunk from 2017.
95 Points, Robert Parker The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Rockfall Vineyard comes from a high-elevation site of 2,000 to 2,200 feet. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 21 months in 66% new French oak. This vineyard is a south-facing micro-terroir with lots of rocks, and the wine smells of mountain garrigue intermixed with black cherry, blackberry and cassis. The wine is dense, full-bodied, rich and rugged, but not rustic. It is a full-bodied, massive, rather backward and primordial wine for those with the patience to cellar it. Forget it for 5-8 years, and drink it over the following 40+ years.
92 Points, Vinous The 2015 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon offers a terrific representation of the property. Gravel, smoke, licorice, tobacco, black cherry and plum infuse this striking, wonderfully savory Cabernet Sauvignon. All the elements simply fall into place.
94 Points/Editor's Choice, Wine Enthusiast This wine is a blend from several of the producer's higher-elevation estate vineyards in the appellation. Floral and inviting in sugar apple, caramel crème brûlée and complex spice and salt seasonings, it's plush and voluptuous, with supportive acidity and a crushed stone minerality.
91 Points, Wine Enthusiast Stonestreet consistently delivers complex, refreshing renditions of Sauvignon Blanc. Grassy on the nose, with an exotic tease of pea shoot, it seemingly vibrates on the palate with lemon, grapefruit and apricot flavors.
89-92 Points, Robert Parker A year in, year out killer wine is the 2015 Côtes du Rhône Villages Cuvee Sabrine (80% Grenache and 20% Syrah), which is loaded with Provençal charm and offers lots of ripe black raspberries, spiced cherries, garrigue and leather aromas and flavors. It’s slightly more layered, concentrated and complex than the Feraud Brunel release, and has medium to full-bodied richness and sweet tannin, all suggesting it will drink nicely for 4-5 years.
Winemaker's Notes Very bright pale straw yellow. Marked fruity and flowery nose reminiscent of the countryside in summer. A dry, round and flavorsome taste, well-structured with a fruity, warm and well-balanced finish.
92 Points, Robert Parker The 2016 Roero Arneis was bottled on Saint Valentine’s Day and that’s a fitting touch. Some 140,000 bottles were made, which is more than average. This is a fresh and buoyant wine that is loaded with tangy tropical fruit, pineapple and honeydew melon. The wine’s intensity is exuberant, pronounced and refreshing. Dustings of fine mineral and salty limestone characteristics give the wine a brilliant sense of polish and crispness. Bruna Giacosa tells me the fruit harvested in 2016 was beautiful. She distinctly remembers the perfumes of the Arneis grapes as they came into the winery on the back of a truck during harvest. This is a beautiful white wine.
92 Points/Top 100 of 2017, Wine Spectator Refined and rich-tasting, with effusive minerality to the red berry and cherry flavors, lathered with plenty of creamy accents. Pepper and cigar box notes show on the long and complex finish. Drink now through 2022.

95 Points, Robert Parker The 2014 Proprietary Red O.P.C. is a blend of 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Syrah, 20% Malbec and 12% Merlot. A brilliant nose of blue, red and black fruits, licorice, graphite, background spice and roasted meats jumps from the glass of this complex proprietary red. This is an intriguing blend that Buoncristiani has pulled off flawlessly. The color is a dense ruby/purple, the wine full-bodied and rich with sweet tannin, a burgeoning, broad suppleness and a rich, long, lusty finish. Drink it over the next 10-12 years

91 Points, Decanter Winemaker's Notes: For Dourthe La Grande Cuvée 2015 red is deep garnet in colour. The alluring bouquet offers red and black berry fruits, accentuated by a hint of delicately spiced oak. Initially concentrated on the palate, the wine reveals intense, fragrant fruit, developing generous, fleshy mouthfeel. With its dense, lovely deep structure, it evolves against a backdrop of well-balanced, silky tannins. This is an altogether beautifully balanced wine that culminates in an impressively long, savoury finish.
99 Points, James Suckling This is a fabulous white proving that Argentina can compete with the greatest whites of the world. Complex aromas of stones, lime, lemon, flan, meringue, and flowers. Hints of pie crust. Full body, with mineral, stone, and electric acidity. Joyous. Drink now. Made from organically grown grapes.
92 Points, Wine Enthusiast Tasted alongside the 2013, this is bigger, bolder, fruitier and more powerful, yet a touch less refined. The strawberry and cherry fruit is underscored with a pleasing minerality. The tannins are substantial and in proportion. A hint of chicken stock runs through the finish.
93 Points, James Suckling Linear and lean with wonderful freshness and crispness. Lots of lemon rind and citrus character with hints of stone and mango. Medium body, crisp and delicious. Minerality, sea salt undertone. Even gunpowder. Serious white for the money....
90 Points, Habersham Tasting Panel Winemaker's Notes: The 2016 Michael Pozzan Chardonnay is delicate and fine-boned Chardonnay highlighting the subtly of the Russian River appellation. The nose is diaphanous with exotic jasmine notes and a touch of wet stone. The wine is light and elegant, with a food-friendly acid that will make it a welcome addition to any bite.
91 Points, Robert Parker The 2017 Torrontés Serie A from Salta was cropped from a dry year that was slightly cooler than 2016 (remember, this is Salta, not Mendoza). The grapes come from vines planted at 1,800 to 2,000 meters in altitude. The juice, partly from direct pressing and partly with five hours of maceration, fermented at low temperature with selected yeasts, and the wine was bottled unoaked. It's floral, citrusy and spicy, with varietal aromas and an herbal touch of oregano. It's fresh and balanced, with a dry finish. This is one for the dining table. The wine was kept with the lees until it was bottled in December 2017.
91 Points, Habersham Tasting Panel Winemaker's Notes: Classic vinification at a controlled temperature and matured on lees. Bright yellow in colour, revealing a nose of citrus fruits and very ripe fruit. Subtle and delicate on the palate.
91 Points, Habersham Tasting Panel Winemaker's Notes: This wine shows deep in color, with ruby tints. It has scents of red and black berries mixed with floral notes, together with hints of delicate spices and vanilla. On the palate, it displays aromas of crushed black fruits such as raspberries, black currants, cherries and black-cherry jam. This wine is complex, rich and long with well integrated tannins.
This is a gorgeous food wine and works well with roast meats, tuna and cheeses.

It is a ripe wine, with a rounded, full-bodied character. Full of yellow and crisp green fruits and with a touch of toast, it deliciously combines fruitiness and texture.
Winemaker's Notes Lurid ruby. Aromas of cherry and licorice are complemented by a suggestion of dark chocolate, and a smoky nuance emerges slowly. 90 Points, Robert Parker La Maldita has now turned into a Garnacha project with wines of all three colors, the original of which, a red, is already in its fourth vintage with the 2017 La Maldita. This has to be one of the first reds bottled from a challenging year. It's mostly unoaked, but a small fraction of the wine was in barrique for a couple of months. I was very surprised by the elegance of the nose of this Garnacha, with a balsamic and herbal twist, fresh with body, ripeness, deep flavors and a great mouthfeel, juicy and very pleasant.
91 Points, Habersham Tasting Panel Codename for the Allied invasion of Southern France, Operation Dragoon was launched August 15, 1944. During the next month, the French army liberated Toulon and Marseille while the American soldiers advanced National Route 7 with the help of the French Resistance to release the Rhone Valley. This four week campaign, combined with D-Day, was instrumental in the ending of the war.
This blend of 70% Grenache, 30% Syrah is the homage to all those people who liberated the Rhone Valley, helping bring peace back to the world.
93 Points, Robert Parker A blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and a splash of Carignan, the 2014 Cotes Catalanes Grenache D66 IGP spent ten months in roughly 30% new barrels. This inky colored, downright sexy 2014 offers terrific notes of blueberries, blackberries, violets and chalky minerality. Big, concentrated and textured, yet still playing in the more elegant style of the 2014 vintage, this beauty will drink well for a decade.
Winemaker's Notes This is fairly thick and chewy nigorizake (cloudy sake), but it is still surprisingly dry. The aromas are bright and fresh and they show a lovely ricey and fruity combination. In the mouth, this sake has solid weight and gives the same flavors of fresh fruit and creamy fresh rice that your nose told you about. The finish has a pleasant astringency and is nicely mellow, beckoning you for another mouthful. You will rarely taste a classier Nigori at this price, and this may be the ultimate food-friendly Nigori.
89 Points, Ultimate Wine Challenge This full-bodied wine is full of juicy red and black plums, vanilla cream soda, and spring flowers. It has a bright freshness to it that makes it easy to visit time and again, making it a perfect party wine.
